Pia's graduation
After 6 years hard work, Pia finally completed her Open University degree last October (2002). She now holds a
"Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with English Language with honours"

in May 2003, we attended Ely Cathedral for her GRADUATION ceremony.

All 5 of us attended, dressed up in our glad rags. It was a full day of it, arriving about 11.00am, Pia queued up for her robes, then it was off to the official photographers, where she had her photos taken clutching her scroll and we had some family ones done at the same time. Then time for a spot of lunch, and then into the cathedral for the ceremony.

It took a while for the graduates to be called to the stage to be congratulated and receive their scrolls, but eventually, there she was, shaking hands with the University Vice-Chancellor.

So what next... well Pia has signed up to do a Masters degree and she has pursuaded me to take the plunge, so I am signed up for a degree in Business Studies, that will hopefully lead to an MBA.
